Allow us to recommend our premium, 96% bright white, heavy 19pt paper stock. As a reference the 19pt paper stock is more than half the thickness of an actual credit card (Visa/MasterCard).

Matte Film Finish

Matte film is an elegant, dull, glare-free, protective film. Matte film feels like paper but is actually a premium plastic film laminate that's applied to both sides of the business cards. Matte film is water and tear resistant (not proof), it is also used to protect the colors (especially dark colors) from rubbing off the edge of the paper. Matte film will make the final business cards thicker. Example: Stock + matte film lamination will produce a 19pt business card.

Spot gloss is a glossy coating that is only applied to a specific section of the business card. The selected area is singled out and coated with a glossy finish while the rest remains matte. The goal of this process is to give your card some contrast by highlighting both the matte film and the spot gloss. You have the option of adding the spot gloss to any area of the card, for example over a logo, a certain section of a graphic, or even as an elaborate pattern.

Set yourself apart from the competition by adding rounded corners to your business cards. Rounded corners provide a unique, sleek, and modern look. As a reference a 1/8" corner radius is the same corner radius used on credit cards (Visa/MasterCard).

Add an additional layer of bold color to your business cards with our edge painting options. Some of our colors include gold, silver, copper, black, red, pink, green, and many more. Select from over 40 edge colors (including metallics & fluorescents). Note: For best results, select a color with contrast. We recommend an edge color that is lighter or darker than the background color in your design.
